We don’t drink oil instead of milk
Some day Chinese guy from school asked me where I came from? And I Said: Saudi Arabia.
He response with smile on his face: aha from richest country … and richest people!!
I answered him outspokenly: Richest country and poor people.
He answered me amazingly: How com?!!
He seems sure person and I can't blame him or blame every person has the same idea about my country or Saudis because they use logical thinking to judge person some times. This idea common every where in whole world even in some Arabic countries for example, Syria or Egypt. I heard many stories from friends and cousins about what people think about us and the funniest one is: My brothet told me his teacher in United states think we are still use camels for transport and live in tents, that's make me laugh aloud(So funny).
Actually there are many reasons emphasize this look to Saudis. First of all, Saudi Arabia is the world’s largest producer and exporter of oil, and has one quarter of the world’s known oil reserves. And that what make others think Saudis life is more comfortable and luxury. The second reason, Most of Saudi tourists and student who studying abroad behave in surficial way and that are what let other people think Saudis doesn't care about money and how much they spend on eating in restaurant and shopping. In addition some Saudi like showing up I think this is psychological issue (when people think they worth what they spend and how much money they have).maybe there are many other reasons for this look to Saudis .My country like any where there are people from different classes in society. Sum up We don't have oil well in our houses; w
